I'd like to use my Sync Strike on regular SCART sets, mainly because I already have it and it looks like the easiest solution for getting external audio out of SCART. I've been using adapters which plug straight into the TV but they cause too much strain on the connection, causing picture dropouts.
I got a male-male cable with VGA and SCART ends but discovered that this doesn't work for some reason. Is it even possible to get this working with stock cables? Would a VGA gender changer+female VGA/male SCART cable work?
