Got a problem here. I have a PAL SNES with an RGB SCART cable (has 75ohm resistors in it as opposed to capacitors) Im trying to run it through a Bandridge SCART switch, and I cannot get anything to display. If I connect the SNES directly to the monitor (PVM-20N6E) I get a perfect image. Everything is fine. But nothing when I run it through the switch. My Mega Drive works fine through the switch though, so I know the switch isnt faulty, and I know the scart cable isnt faulty because it works fine connected directly to the monitor. So whats going on here? Is the Bandridge doing something to the SNES signal before it sends it to the monitor? I've tried running it through a sync stripper too and it has no effect.
I initially thought that Luma sync might work, but then realized that I can't even get any sound to pass through the switch. Halp.

Ok problem seems to be solved. The Bandridge really doesnt like the SNES's composite video signal it seems. Wiring the cable for Luma sync seems to provide a perfect image.
