Re: Extron RGB-HDMI 300A
It's meant for upscaling VGA signals (31khz and higher, e.g. from a Dreamcast or an older PC). It doesn't work with 15khz RGB signals.

If you are interested in using it for PC resolutions, I highly recommend it.

How about this one?
EXTRON DVS 304-A DIGITAL VIDEO SCALER
Is it any good for 240p on HDTV?
I have a Vga port on my Tvs.

Re: Extron RGB-HDMI 300A
i asked the above question because Im thinking about buying one of the analog vga extron scalers instead of an hdmi one, like the one i mentioned. I looked for info about it here but didnt run across anything about it yet.

Those Extron processors, with multiple inputs and low prices, are certainly enticing but it has been established that they can't tell 240p from 480i so they mishandle anything prior to the 6th gen consoles. They are also quite laggy. I think there was some discussion about them here already.
