Should be good enough I'd say.

The pre-orders are closed ATM. There will be extra units from this batch once I ship the pre-orders. The best you can do is to subscribe to this thread and read my announcements.

So far I'm on the fence on this one. I remember early on when Viletim came up with the idea of an adapter for Jamma I suggested ideas and they were implemented to pretty much what the end specification became. I could of just rewired a few bits myself, but he came up trumps.

If you put this project in Viletims hands he will give you a product worthy for God himself.

What i'm hearing here is Superg wants what he wants and wants everyone to like it as it is. Thats up to him. But if he wants a product that everyone wants he needs to work on the basis that different people want different things. Right now he is giving a "like it or lump it" type of attitude. My wallet isn't crying yet.

edit - Its better to offer something at a higher price than not offer it at all. If you can do JP21 and Euro configs in one setup, suggest a price and see how it flows.

edit 2 - In my ITIL course I'm doing we talk a lot about UTILITY - Is the service fit for purpose? In my case the answer is a resounding NO!
He doesn't want to corner the market he just wants to sell his product. If you want to make your version go right ahead, no one is stopping you. Bit of advice though: his jp21 models hardly ever sold so selling something even more niche is going to end badly for you. Also you are very rude and not very bright.

Excuse me,
How much will cost to combine the domestic shipping if I place an order in future for gcompsw + gscartsw_lite? More than $20 or not? Should I buy gcompsw now?
Thx...

I don't know yet, I will know the exact refund amount when I'll ship. For domestic I ship priority flat rate, if it fits it medium flat rate box I'll refund more, etc. Shipping price also includes insurance / packing materials / PayPal fees (it's easier for me that way) so it's complex.
Did you already pre-order gscartsw_lite?

Any Samsung KS7000/KS8000 users out there having issues with dropping sync in Line x 5 mode? Got this TV yesterday and have only tested a Japanese Mega Drive through the gscartsw 3.4 into the OSSC so far, all other modes seem to hold sync but line x5 drops every few seconds...any OSSC settings I could change to help it keep sync?

I haven't got my OSSC to hand, but the Megadrive and sync was the one console I had issues with. There's a sync option somewhere to boost sync I think; I have to use it for my console even in x2 mode.

Cheers for the info! I've got a gscartsw_lite on the way so the new sync regeneration feature may help it a bit! I'll have to try other consoles too. This is probably a bit off topic for this thread, sorry SuperG. I'll post over on the OSSC forum too.

Check the sync settings on the OSSC. I had problems with my NTSC Sega Genesis if the Sync Analog Low Pass Filter (LPF) setting wasnt on High (2.5MHz). You can also try changing the Pre and Post Coast settings, the documentation specifically mentions Mega Drive as a possible reason to change those above defaults. Also, you may want to check the firmware version on your OSSC is the newest version, v0.77, they are constantly working on system compatibility, that may help as well.

Follow-up question: will the Lite output TTL level CSYNC in Sync Regeneration mode, and if not, is there a simple modification that would make it do so?

And there aren't any pins on the Altera IC that are used to switch between 75ohm and TTL?

That's good news. If someone asks for refunds or give up there's a list for people, like me, that is waiting for a
new pre-order?

I'm attempting to use the unit with the AV3 input on the OSSC. Referring to this thread, would the Altera IC be a "real ~1V transistor driver?"

The lite units will be here on Monday. I estimate to start shipping on a next weekend. The combined gcompsw / gscartsw_lite orders will be shipped first.
It will be a bit slower as nobody is helping me this time, will do my best!

Very awesome to hear. So excited. Good luck!

How long do you estimate it will take for the leftovers to go on sale here?

Awesome news! Thanks for the update! Can't wait to add those two bad boys in to my setup (which already has 1 gcompsw and 1 gscartsw (full-figured, non-lite). That will get my connectivity setup complete for now as well as slightly future-proofed for more console additions.

That's great to hear. I got in near the end so I'm sure it'll be a while yet, but I can't wait to be able to have all of my stuff ready to go and not have to switch cables all the time.

On your GComp, do you ever think of in the future adding another output?
