What are your thoughts on Robs testing with the BVM A series , and the sync issue? (even with the your sync regen on the lite)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SkslzaHJXzE&t=2s

Is is possible / easy to generate "Horizontal slices in the vertical sync block" realtime within the circuitry ?

There will be extra units from this batch.

Will there be any sort of audio filter on the gscartsw_lite like there is on the 3.4?

No, no filters in lite.

If I understand what's going on correctly, it makes perfect sense the gscart lite didn't fix the issue. It's merely digitizing the existing sync signal. No clue myself how easy/hard it would be to reprogram the signal to have slices in real time.

Oh good, I am about to start building my PVM shelf and that's the final bit I will need. Hoping to snag one eventually :)

Hello, I remember you posting a link to the power supply you suggested for the center negative gscartsw v3.2 on Assembler. Since it's down do you remember which one that was? Cheers!

Hi, I was wondering if it would be possible to power 2 gSCART switches with one power supply (using a Y splitter cable and making sure polarity is correct). The problem is I don't know the max. power consumption for each switch, and I wouldn't want to overload the PSU. Any help would be much appreciated.

It would be incredibly simpler to just use 2 power supplies and a power strip. Is there some reason you can't do that? It isn't like it uses any more or less power.

For older gscartsw versions it could be this one:

The switch consumption is less than 100mA, you can safely power up a few gscartsw's (or lites or gcompsw's) using one power supply which I ship with every switch.

Question for the group. Obviously the gscartsw is the best rgb switch, my question is what does the group recommend for hdmi auto switchers? Since I'll have the gscart_lite for all my rgb modded systems which will then feed into an xrgb mini framemeister (which doesn't have many hdmi inputs) I just wondered what others did for their hdmi consoles?

I use AV Receiver for that.

Do you use a mini framemeister? I was trying to have everything feed into the mini framemeister then hit my receiver that feeds the tv.

The Framemeister won't pass thru 4k and HDR for the likes of the Xbox One S or PlayStation Pro

Thank you. Those are the missing bits of info I needed. So I'll just pass The older devices through the framemeister and use the receiver for all the hdmi units.

The PCB's are manufactured, now they are soldering the components (assembly).

I hate to be a pest, but I'm still very new to all this. How long does that process take? Will the extras be available for sale within the month?

I'm trying to budget my money, and being a business owner, budgeting is getting super complicated... trying to get all my ducks in a row, y'know?

Ah, right on! I didn't even see that there. Thanks!

So if all goes well, it'll be around June 30th?

I prefer not to talk dates, it's all the estimations. Extra units will go on sale 2 weeks after I ship all pre-orders.

Gotcha. Thanks again for your patience. This is all so new to me and there's a lot to wrap my head around, a lot of different parts. Your willingness to answer my dumb questions makes a huge difference.

For SuperG or anyone that can share / help

I'm hearing about some type of sync converter that's in development

My problem, I'm attempting to run a playstation 2 on an XM29 Plus RGB for PS2. Been running it with a Sync on luma cable, and I'm able to get 240p / 480i, no problem but no go at 480p or above when forcing a higher resolution via GSM. Seems to be a sync issue. (I'm guessing)

I'm familiar with with Extron stuff thanks to retrorgb/bob - but not sure if it may be best to wait for SuperG's device. Anyone have any info on it, or if they think either of these will solve my problem?
