Tangerine Dream podcast

Today the synthwave podcast show BeyondSynth interviewed the amazing group Tangerine Dream. I know there are fans here, so i'll share the link:

I thought that they ended with Edgar dying a while back.

They ended way before that. Edgar Froesse carried on with the name but I don't think the "band" had any real relation to what they were in the 70's and 80's. In the last decade they would often mime to backing tapes.

Cool podcast series though.

I think his son was in the band when he died. I have not heard any of their stuff for years.
Safe to say though that all bands have their time and it passes.
