DVDO vp50pro latency

The DVDO vp50pro has been great. It doesn't have the ringing I saw on my vp50.

But, there's something that just hasn't been quite "right". The latency has never checked out. Everything on the unit works fine. I'm on the latest firmware.

I may or may not have a bad unit. I have an external rack mount fan that sits on top of the unit and always pulls air. The fans sit directly above the air vents on top of the unit. The bottom of the unit is seperated from everything below. I give it plenty of room to breathe; it never gets a chance to get hot.

From the Leo Bodnar devices to camera tests, I am confident the latency for progressive sources on my vp50pro is 10ms. My vp50 delivers 6ms. There is a difference.

I'm well aware of the functions and options, so I'm not looking for configuration tips.

Can anybody else verify that their vp50pro unit delivers 6ms? I am feeling awfully confident that my unit works properly. I think the image quality comes with an extra 4ms price tag.

Does it matter? Not much. I'm nitpicking. But, I am still curious...
