Hi all,
I've had my Framemeister for a few years now (since late 2014). A few months ago, I started getting occasional green flashing from some consoles. Here's a video:
https://youtu.be/AHP3XXjs_Dw
This happens once every 10-20 minutes or so. A few points:
1. I'm using S-Video input and 1080p output to a Panasonic plasma (TC-P50ST50).
2. Only seems to happen with NES and SNES. Not N64 or GameCube (all are S-Video).
3. Switching HDMI inputs on the TV fixes it, as shown in the video.
4. I tried downgrading the firmware to v2.02, but it still happens.
5. I've tried using a different HDMI port on the TV.
Has anyone seen this before? Is my Framemeister going bad? Any other ideas?
Thanks much.

Re: Green flashing.... Bad XRGB-Mini Framemeister?
So I solved the problem with this post:
https://www.reddit.com/r/fireTV/comment ... _new_fire/
It's caused by a feature of the Panasonic ST50 TV. If I disable the Pixel Orbiter, then the green flashing goes away:
Menu > Setup > Anti image retention > Pixel Orbiter > Disable
Honestly, I have no idea why the pixel orbiter causes this. And I have no idea why it started to happen relatively recently. And I have no idea why it only happens with the Framemeister + NES/SNES. Maybe it started happening when I upgrade to the Framemeister v2 firmware. I can't find the v1 firmware to downgrade and try out, though.
Anyhow, I hope this helps someone else in the future.
Here's a fun time lapse video showing the flashing happening almost precisely every 15.5 minutes:
