No medal drop, handful of small missed scoring opportunities in stages but good bosses. Naisu.
Edit: I'd just like to add that I would not have gotten this score without the guidance from NTSC-J, attending my streams of this game and giving me a variety of tips and pointers. Those tips do add up I think, oh and don't forget the bombing placements in stage 1 to adequetely powerup for Harahara; watching DEL's Manpuku run

Keepin' it Muchi real. Score dump. Almost ready for 1.0.
Couple scores N/A to leaderboard here.
1.01 - Harahara
Aquas - 204,977,570 - ALL - Ikuo
1.01 - Harahara
Aquas - 203,827,650 - ALL - Rafute
--
1.01 - Normal
Aquas - 419,199,070 - 2-ALL - Momo
1.01 - Normal
Aquas - 397,229,460 - 2-ALL - Ikuo
1.01 - Normal
Aquas - 366,741,630 - 2-ALL - Rafute
I would like to improve the Rafute score, try to crack 400 with Ikuo, also better the Momo score a bit. Then... 1.0
Btw, a little mechanic in the game clicked with me last night. You can re-initialize lard shot near instantly by holding lard, release lard, tap shot (hold okay i believe) to suck in medals, then immediately lard again. There's a slight timing to it, but not bad. :O Need 25%+ meter of course. Particularly effective for busy / crisis moment.

Thanks DEL. Hey DEL!, did you hear MorceauFeve beat your Manpuku score? By about 30 million points, replay's on the leaderboard and such.

By 26mil points yeah, with Momo. He must have gunned for my score for nearly 3 years, and knew that Momo would give him the scoring edge, as my run was a no-miss chain 'til the first Midboss of ST2-5.
Is he French or Japanese? Would be interesting to know.
Your 1.01 Harahara score should be counted as the 1.01 WR for sure https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=19WuvVwqtTU
If any easy squeezy Japaneezy playaz want to claim that one, then they'd have to play XBOX Live and put a score up.

A French player. Yeah I thought so. Maybe he was there at Stunfest watching my Manpuku run and got the urge to splurge.
2 and a half years later aaaannd BOOM.
Congrats to dat guy
Also congrats again to you Mister Aquas. Big SCOARS

Judging by his twitter, it didn't take him nearly that long. His first scores for regular 1.01 were posted in August 2015 and his first Manpuku score (153m, 2-1) was in November of last year.
Topped awo's Rafute 1.01 score by a few million points. Probably could've pressed 400 million at the last boss last phase but you never know how many of Rafute's bomb blasts are going to hit. It was fun to bring Rafute to this level, my 2-5 was excellent this time. Still had some holes in my play, just couldn't get the 2-1 midboss to cooperate for a full cancel. Argh!

His first name is Malo and he lives near Rennes (France) -- so indeed attends the Stunfest.
Met him at the Stunfest 2015 and 2016 (he maybe attended before, but I didn't). Very nice guy and great player (at many cave games, not only MMP). He plays on a Japanese candy cab (original New Astro City iirc -- with a 'downscaler' to have his Xbox360 working on a 15khz CRT screen). The stunfest 2017 is cancelled; but I'm pretty sure you'll see him in 2018 if you come to Rennes again
Thanks blackisto,
He's clearly an excellent player and clever too. Knowing that the Momo character was the way to beat my Manpuku record.
I'll be at Stunfest 2018 if its on.
NTSC-J - Yup roughly 3 months to go from Manpuku 2-1 to the 2-ALL, plus the time before that to master the first loop. Similar to my own Manpuku journey. With strats and footage available from my run on Youtube.
1.01 - Normal
Aquas - 415,408,900 - 2-ALL - Rafute
1.01 - Normal
Aquas - 428,876,910 - 2-ALL - Ikuo
With Ikuo... Played out of my mind in 2-3 and 2-4, started 2-5 with 357 million. I'm going for the world record.

I see the most room for improvement with Momo, even though Ikuo has always been my character of choice. I got greedy at the end so this easily could have been 5m higher, plus there were other mistakes. I think I could push it to 450m, which gets me really close to the 456m leaderboard record. I don't know where to get those extra points, though.
Whoa, awesome stuff NTSC-J! Good to see 1.0 hasn't tainted your 1.01 play much.
And crap, you beat all of my scores! Well done. This should be a good motivation to try to get to 450 Mil.

Do you think you'll come back to the game at some point? Maybe go for the Rafute record?
Yes I will. I'll need to view either your replays or Aquas' to see how to improve
Will stick with Burst for a while (only being playing it for a couple of weeks, so will see what I can do there).
Then I'll get back to Pork for a bit.
Holy moly NTSC-J! Sick score. Especially for 6 cancels missed.

I seem to be a poor judge of scoring potential in this game. I had a bad first loop, dropping medals and missing gold on the 4th boss, and almost tossed the credit, but I pushed through and somehow beat my score, even after missing more cancels and dropping medals a couple more times. I think I missed out on about 20-25m again. Just a couple more shots...
