Espgaluda II "thingy"

Post by _rm_ »

I bought an Espgaluda II kit but it's missing that thing that you can hang (i guess). How exactly is it called?

Anyone know if it's possible to find it anywhere? I guess no one will want to sell just that.

Of course it's not that important, but... You know

Which part? The suction cup, the little spring piece, or the small circular art piece?

Are you talking about those suction cups that were included in some releases? (Or am I confusing something?)

I mean those three items, i guess they work together, right?

Were they available in all releases or as Bonus! says only in some? Maybe my kit never had those, but most Full Kits i see online have them, so i took for granted that it was standard.

I remember a thread that had a list with all the Cave kits and all the "bells and whistles" that came with them but i can't find it

Your kit could really be a random Cave box and a reprint artwork set.

Search for skykid's cave reprint list thread, if it's known it will be there

Thanks.

I found this info: "The only discernable difference between original artsets and reprints (based on first-hand comparisons) is that reprints are a touch darker"

Guess i can't tell the difference without a known first print to compare

Thank you all for the info guys.

It's called a 'spinner', it came with all EII kits.

Your artset will basically be indistinguishable from the originals, so it doesn't matter if it's a reprint or not. The colour temperature is more obvious on older artsets like Ketsui and Espgaluda, but even then, utterly marginal.

Amazing how these things have become so elusive. I had this thing on its own up for sale about 6 years ago and nobody wanted it for £15 quid. It sat unsold for ages.

I can't even remember what happened in the end.

At least you're not after a Ketsui suction cup. Rarest suction cup there is!
