What are some of the best tests to run and look at for initially inspecting a CRT, like an fw900.
If you have 30 minutes to plug a laptop in, what would be the best tests to check out?
Thanks!

Pretty much the same as a CRT TV. The most common ones are Crosshatch, Overscan, Convergence, Linearity, Focus, Brightness, Contrast, Color Bars, Gray Scale, and Sharpness.

Quick FYI, the SONY FW900 takes it about 30 minutes to "warm up". I think this is normal for this monitor as I have seen other bring that up. That being said, I just used the display calibration program that came built in with windows that should be good enough. You can fix most things by doing a WinDas calibration.
