Does anyone have an error code sheet for the DVDO iScan HD+ box? I got one for a decent price but it is barking out an error code on the LCD; ERR-df00-35-0220, and it won't show anything on the TV screen. None of the buttons respond on the face. I do not have a remote.
I have already torn it down, checked most everything, and the chips don't get hot fast so they are good. The PSU is outputting the right voltage. One of the Voltage regulators worry me since it's putting out 2.4v rather than 3...but it's an adjustable regulator...so maybe it's fine.
Anyone have any ideas?

Was it claimed to be working when you acquired it ?
do you have the manual? (if not, then search for DVDO in this forum, someone posted links to all the FW/Manuals to the DVD range)

They said it wouldn't power on, I hooked it up to my variable PSU and then got a proper one. Powered on both times. I'll look for the manual.h1ghju1ce wrote:Was it claimed to be working when you acquired it ?

Re: DVDO iScan HD+ error code
should be fine... The DVDOs just require a terminal program and you need to take care of the proper settings.Does updating the firmware work in Linux?

Re: DVDO iScan HD+ error code
I think I may have pinpointed a problem, the PSU isn't pumping out enough AMPs, my voltmeter only sees 25.1 on the 200mA setting.
