Sony PVM 14M2U horizontal screen issue

So I just upgraded my PVM monitor to a 14M2U, and I'm having trouble with adjusting the horizontal stretch of the image. The sides are curved inwards and no matter what setting I tinker with I can't get it to correct itself. Options such as Horizontal Size in the service menu just don't seem to do anything, or any horizontal option for that matter. Is the problem with the tube itself? Do I have to adjust the horizontal pots manually? Should I try a factory reset? I can post pictures if that would help. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
