So I acquired a 1943md on the cheap. Works great but the rgb input is the only one without audio in or out. I'd like it to have both.
Is there a simple way to redirect the audio inputs/outputs from another line to the RGB one? E.g I could plug the audio into the composite audio and it works on the RGB channel

Man, don't use the shitty speaker on that monitor. Buy some small bookshelf speakers. If you don't want to spend a lot, they're at goodwill and on craigslist all the time.
The music and sound effects are integral parts of the 16 and 8-bit experience.

I have a different 14" PVM and I have to agree with BazookaBen, the sound from these monitors is definitely pretty awful (not to mention in mono). Your gaming experience will be highly improved with even a small set of PC speakers or a good set of headphones. You've got awesome visuals, why not get some good audio and have the full package?
