Hey all -
I recently acquired a PVM 2950Q. Its pretty impressive, and seemed to be working perfectly, but... I noticed some image drops happening. Almost like a sync issue.
Here's what's happening for example on ThunderForce IV, when demo /intro goes to "high scores", the screen goes blank. Then it comes back when the Sege/Title screen come up.

Does the same thing for Sonic CD during the title, and Snatcher, doesn't display at all.
I'm running C-Sync cable from the genesis, along with GSCART switch, via a VGA to BNC cable (http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/121661260171?rmvSB=true) to the PVM.
Not sure if this is a cable issue, or something else, but thought I would ask.
Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks

I had no problem playing Snatcher on my 2530 back in the day. My console of choice was a CDX.
Then again the Q is a newer model with OSD.

I'm hearing comments that a Sync Stripper may be necessary -
I ordered this cable as well, will try it later today.

Not sure if I need a separate sync stripper device? (In addition to the above cable)
All my stuff is C-Sync (cables etc) so not really sure

No other device needed. But that cable won't help if you are already feeding the monitor composite sync. It is for extracting composite sync from composite video signals.
