Xbox arcade stick to ps3 & PS2???
I have a xbox360 stick (usb), i have an original phat ps3 that plays ps2 discs. I bought an HDE converter and it works on the ps3 but not when i use a ps2 disc in the ps3. Anything out that works around this?

If I remember correctly some (if not all) PS2 games only worked properly when I used an actual DS3. For example, Raiden III refused to work for with my Hori Fighting Commander 3 Pro.

Same for me, its a shame bc the upscale is nice. When a ps2 game loads with the dsc, you have to press the PS button again. Hrmmm, just wondered if mayflash mad something. Or. Maybe a ps3 setting im nit seeing? none of my ps2 shmup disc work but downloads work with the hde converter,
Kind of sux

You have to be willing to put up with the display lag though (apparently enabled rumble can aggravate (input) lag).2dvertical wrote:the upscale is nice.
When you do an online search you'll run across some reports of people even having issues with DS3 controllers of more recent manufacture. Seems the PS2 BC software interface has more stringent controller synchronization/authentication requirements - and with more recent PS3 system software updates there is the possibility that PS2 BC robustness hasn't been exactly a priority. PS2 classics downloads may use entirely different controller interface software.
Another case where the PS2 Classic of "Gradius V" works with a range of PS3 controllers while the disc version does not.
