Anyone know where I can find that saturn shmup video?
I recall seeing this great video that showed every single shmup or related game on the sega saturn. The guy who made it gives comments on each game while he showcases them. I've looked everywhere for it and can't find. I can't remember if I found it on tihs board or not. Hopefully someone knows thanks

You're arguing for a universe with fewer waffles in it. I'm prepared to call that cowardice.

Hello everyone,
Yakumo here, the owner of Segagaga Domain and creator of Retro Core. I've noticed that my site is often linked to from this lovely forum so I thought I'd check it out
Good news for the Saturn shooting fans is that I'll be remaking the Saturn Shooting special in the not so distant future with direct recording unlike the original that was made using a video camera. The new version will feature more games plus stereo audio
I just hope that I can find my lost copy of Wolf Fang so that I can add it to the show.

Hi, I'm, a lurker too. Now that I have a chance to say hi to Yakumo, I want to tell you "hi" first of all, and second, I've become a great fan of Retrocore (thanks for providing it) and my favorite is the Saturn Shooting Special. That video has cost me lots of money- every time I watch it, I say "I've got to get that game!" and head off to eBay. Actually, it's that video that made me start seriously getting into the joy of shooters.
Oh, and in the future, I'd really like to see you murder a Playstation 2!

Hey, GaijinPunch, didn't know you came here ! Yeah, I know I got slagged here or was it another shmups board? But I don't care about that. We all have our own opinions.GaijinPunch wrote:You must not have much experience lurking here.Yakumo wrote: but I do enjoy reading peoples views![]()

Anyways, nice to see you hear.
XYXZYZ, I'm glad that Retro Core was useful to you I know what you mean about it being expensive though. Only recently I saw RSG in a store for a stupid 23'000 yen !!! That's 10'000 yen more than I paid for mine about a year ago.

As you can see from my post count, I'm here almost as much as Assembler (more lately, actually). I think the issue at hand is that most people that post here are rather fanatically about shooters, and while also interested in other genres. You seem to be more of an all-arounder, so of course the hardcore will probably disagree. Just the way it goes.Hey, GaijinPunch, didn't know you came here !
