It's a tribute to a one-sided series of arguments that occurred absolutely ages ago where rancor was the disagreeing opposition. It's not the first time people have ended up nailed to the sig after a debate or disagreement - but it really is a very silly way to behave on a forum. We're not 12 years old.

I don't know, I've not heard a lot of commercials saying "ask a parent before going online" since the late 90's.
They could walk among us you know...posting without adult supervision.

That said I think kids should have to have a "learner's permit" just like driving before they are allowed online.
Nobody would actually have fun in my dystopian fantasy I suppose.

There wasn't as much "go kill yourself" and suicide jokes involving bleach though when I started using the web.
I guess that annoys the hell out of me. Just how depressingly dark kids are online.

Rancor's vicious comments were warrant enough. I was more than reasonable with him but he was having none of it and then he tied himself up like a silly kipper with that series of PMs he sent to me. If you want childish have a read back at what he posted and that ridiculous PM. The guy should know better than that.

As such, an extract from one of those PMs was placed in the signature as he was rubbishing every post I wrote at one stage. I will not be mobbed or bullied, he lost a debate and that's all there is to it.

Indeed, the sig is too long. Forum Rules say signatures must be a maximum of 4 lines long, including newlines. So the sig has been removed and Minty is free to create a more compact one.

Yesterday my toilet got really badly plugged and, in what was seemingly an omen for the coming four years, it completely overflowed at midnight last night. Lucky me, I got to stay up an extra hour mopping up then taking a shower.

So this morning a guy who wasn't the usual manager showed up and... he looked like a guy who plunged toilets for a living. Now the normal manager, when he brings a snake, also brings a bucket so it's not dripping all over the floor afterward. Not this guy. He's happily making small talk about toilet paper and feces while dripping all over my apartment.

What's worse is he had the good sense to wear gloves, and they were visibly filthy after he worked, but he never took them off! So he's touching my door knobs, leaning against the wall, even putting on his coat and running these filthy gloves through the inside of his coat sleeves while I'm biting my tongue and inwardly freaking out like Monk the whole time.

Now I get to put on a hazmat suit and disinfect my whole apartment.
