[Solved] Mushi HD Xbox360 DLC Code for Ver 1.5 won't work

I finally opened my Limited Edition of Mushihimesama HD for Xbox360 and guess what, the DLC code for Ver 1.5 that came with it doesn't work

Just to make sure since I rarely use these features: I went online with my JP console, pressed the home button, pressed left, selected "activate code" (or something like that) put in the code and then got an error. Tried it like 5 times -.-
I did it while the game was running and while the disc was just inside the console but the game was not running.

I know I'm late but still, release was only 4 and a half years ago.

Anything legal I can do? On Xbox360 I own most games I would like to play so as long as my consoles read the discs, there is no point in getting a flashed one for me.

I'm considering that quite a long time personally. At some point even if there were still some unused codes remaining, they would probably consider those lost and to be erased/disabled.
In regards to Cave today they are only the shadow of what they were in their glory days, and probably only pay their last tiny bits of attention to the little income genrated by Steam. I'm not even sure the local dematerialized Live games they have are still selling at all.
The 360's Live also won't last forever.

Are you trying to redeem it with a Japanese account? It probably won't work with anything else.

Oh. No, I got a JP console and used my normal account to log in because I thought the accounts were universal! So how exactly can I create a JP account?

Mine worked after creating a "Japanese" account! Have you tried that?

Yeah I have a Japanese account, it must have just been previously used.
My copy of the game and my J360 has since been stolen anyway.

Dude that sucks! Really sorry to hear that. Are you thinking about replacing the console and any of the games?

I wouldn't spend any money if you don't want to collect!
I've been told the Xbox360 can only save up to ten (only ten!) patches. Once I put in all my discs, one after another, and launched the games to make sure all SHMUPS etc get patched before Xbox Live gets discontinued one day. Just to find out that was a waste of time because when you run the 11th game, the console "forgets" about the patch of the 1st game you have played. If that is correct what I was told.
That means we all need a flashed console anyway with non-physical, patched versions of the games if we don't want to play with auto-bombing or whatever bugs some games have.

But apart from that, creating the JP account was worth the hassle! A friend told me Mushi 1.5 aka Mutsari was his favourite version of the game because it's a bit like Futari BL (shooting stuff at close range for more gold) and I liked Futari BL a lot.
