I noticed that also. Kega Fusion would not run for shit once I switched from my old WFP monitor to my S2716DG. I'm guessing KF doesn't like G-Sync.RdP wrote:How possibile Kega in fullscreen mode (with gsync enabled) crashes?

Kinect? KIN NOT.
Re: Bought a G-Sync monitor; impressions here
Sorry, two questions:
1) I understand that Gsync doesn't work with direct draw, right?

2) What configuration do you recommend with Ootake?

I think it doesn't indeed. Just curious why would you need ddraw ?

Re: Bought a G-Sync monitor; impressions here
It is better ddraw than Direct32, the image appears in correct proportions. Then in direct3d I see as waves, not tearing, but weird folds of the image.
Re: Bought a G-Sync monitor; impressions here
Certainly there is a solution to your problem with Direct3D, everyone who has a G-Sync monitor uses that, so you should work on it because ddraw is useless and will get you nowhere (lower image quality and impossible to benefit from G-Sync).
I assume you are using an older build because afaik ddraw was recently removed from MAME and shouldn't work at all anymore (or MAME force-switches to an other API I think).

I am not referring only to Mame, but also to other emulators, like Kega, which do not use Direct3d. I don't understand why Nvidia wouldn't supports gsync with ddraw!
