I know there are a few PC-98 enthusiasts on this forum, so this should be of some interest.
Kind of wish they'd brought back Hisakawa Aya, but oh well.

Oh no, Asada is producing it. Brace for failure.

General impression seems to be that they neutered the look of the original in every way possible, but I guess that's to be expected.
It's 'updated', but it loses all the PC-98 flair.

Never played this game, but the sprite work looks very cool.

They're sticking to the new VN look, aren't they?
Is he a problem?
How the hell did he get involved from producing shmups to anime?trap15 wrote:Oh no, Asada is producing it. Brace for failure.

A shame the remake's artwork looks so generic and bland compared to the original. Eriko in particular looks way too scrawny, almost anorexic. Urgh.
At least, the music seems very similar.
I am kinda curious as to how they will handle the removal of H-scenes in the games. Even though most were kinda unecessary IMO, a few of them did actually impact the plot.

What is this part of the article referring to? It sounds like another version that is faithful? The "Original NEC PC-9800 Series Edition" of the remake has also been delayed from December 26 to the same date of March 16, 2017.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?
