my TV doesn't accept OSSC 3xline mode

Post by mimylovesjapan »

Don't know why my TV full HD 1080p doesn't accept this triple line mode... isn't 720p ?

It's not a standard 720p, compatibility is quite varied between different TV's.

I'm buying the OSSC before any TV upgrades, so that everything goes hand in hand.
This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.

That half of frame is worth it to me to be able to zoom, pan, overscan etc.

Half a frame is the kind of delay that matters only to the most autistic super-trained fighting and rhythm games players though.

When you got an OSSC and/or an iScan VP it's the display's own lag that will make a difference, not the processors.

@mimilovesjapan
If you got a minute to spare, report your TV model in the thread below, would be appreciated!

mimy, don't you already have a DVDO processor? I thought that you recently purchased a DVDO edge?

pretty sure that would work fine with the OSSC. I've tried it with my edge green and it works perfectly. (only 6ms of added lag).
