It's possible I dreamt this, but wasn't there a medieval space invaders clone. I think it had an archer, and advancing waves of fantasy enemies. Possibly also on the Amiga or ST, but I think it may have been an arcade machine initially?
My mind is leaking out with old age...

that game is ACE, sold mine for peanuts on ebay a while ago.. which ive regretted since ofcourse
calling it a "space invaders clone" is hardly doing it justice tho, it is so much more, graphics arent too hot these days tho..

Ace?
I've played this a few times on Mame, and I thought it was one of the worst things Konami ever produced, the game was so much flawed in so many aspects...
either that or I was missing something

yeah the PCB was ace, i dont play mame so i dont know how well its emulated but the emulation might be flawed, lots of games are...
