You can see the Japanese kanji symbols on the cover there.
They represent whole words or something.



OK...because I'm not a total jerk here is a quick mockup. If you like I can send you the Gimp file to edit more yourself.
The scans need to be manually touched up since they are kind of poor quality.

Thank you Pixel_Outlaw (and others), Gimp was somewhat easy to figure out. Nice suggestion though as I am out of free trials on most software

Here is what I came up with; could have been more ntsc-j authentic but good enough for me, I could not find crisp enough images for Rated Cero etc...

Gimp's fairly good for being open source software.
If you're really feeling spry you can write extensions for it using Script fu (actually just Scheme) or Python.
Gives me an excuse to write in Scheme every once in a while.
