BVM-14F1E won't switch on. All 3 front LEDS flashing

I'm hoping someone might be able to assist me with my BVM. It is a BVM-14F1E and I have the control panel to operate it. The issue I have though is when it is plugged in and power switches on the red standby light flickers you hear the monitor switch on then all 3 lights on the front flash at the same time. Those are overload, power and standby. When the lights get to the point of flashing you can hear a click and the screen seems to be off again. I have tried setting the control panel brightness/contrast to manual and dialed it to the left as I read sometimes that can help an overload failure. I can't find a service manual for the monitor and I have no ideas what the flashing lights mean. I'm hoping it is just the case that one of the boards needs switching out with a new one but again I have no idea where to start diagnosing this problem.

Can anyone here help me out? I can supply more details if required.

Hoping to use this monitor in a small cabinet and have my fingers crossed it's salvageable.

So this is a real longshot, but I read a post on an imageboard once about an overloaded BVM which was only happy once the input/option cards were reseated.
