Pandoras box 4 image position Strange !

Post by Apfolmer »

I have Pandora's box 4
Made a diy scart found in here
5v on pin 16, 12v on pin 8 etc

Beivision my 4200 and 4002

Both tvs, are displaying the pandora games centered about 6-7 centimeters up/left
So image is not showing the upper/left area :(

On the 4200 I can adjust the screen to use almost full screen and games centered ok
On the 4002 I CANT move the image enough, to the right. Even when h-position is max(63) there is still about 20 cm black screen area in the right side.

My problem is that the 4200 needs code every time power has been off. And can't turn tv on without remote :(
And the 4002 can't be adjusted so full screen is used

Please advice.

Can you try the Pandora Box in an actual Jamma cab?
I remember when I owned one of those things I had to adjust the screen a lot compared to the avarage Jamma PCB....
Didn't last long before I sold that Chinese quality product ;)

If you want to play arcade games in 240p, your best option would be some build of Mame, hyperspin etc.

I personally have a old PC running Lakka for those PCB's I don't own original :)

I have an Extron 118 plus that lets me center the image on my monitor, but you probably want a newer version that's more user friendly. (and doesn't require building custom cables.)

An Extron Rxi should fix your problem.
