I do have problems with some older konami pcbs. Crime fighters 1 and Ajax namely.
it is very strange, both pcbs react the same way.
I have Vega supergun 9000dx, hooked up via RGB.
i tested it also on another supergun and on 2 crts.
both pcbs work fine but when the actual gameplay begins, the graphics start to mess up . it gets darker, colors change, stripe go theough the screen
I am not sure anymore if the pcbs are defective . because now i have 2 crime fighters 1 pcb and both have the exact same issue and it starts at the exact same moment when you move your char a little bit to the right.
I already cranked up the 5v to the max but that does not change anything.
also: on other newer konami pcbs like Crime fighters 2 or violent sorm, everything is fine.
is there somethin about these konami pcbs i have to do differenty?
Cheers,
Robert

Re: Issues with older Konami PCBS
Common problem with older Konami boards, it's the sync signal doing it. I don't know of any fix, some monitors will take it just fine, others freak out, darken and have streaks coming off. My TMNT board freaks out on my PVM 20L5 and capture card, but the frame meister doesn't mind and my JVC monitor also has no issues.
