Good to see ya, Chalky. Any idea on what the system requirements will be?
Udderdude, I don't think the graphical style (though I do like Fren-zE's) had much to do with it - I'm guessing Chalky happened to be at the right place at the right time for it to happen. And knowing the right people can't hurt either, I imagine.
Not to say the game itself wasn't good.
I still play it occasionaly.

No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

Damocles I was influenced by many shmups and not only that, just things around me too, fireworks, flowers, abstract patterns etc.
The aim was to produce an abstract looking shmup that had pattern based bullets that could be read whilst playing without having prior level knowledge, if you had quick enough hand eye coordination ofcourse =]. This is why there are no homing missiles. There are now 4 levels each with mini boss and end boss and also a boss attack mode which has each boss opened for each level perfected.
You will just have to play it to see how intense it gets
.
Hi Ghegs, I finally got around to sorting it out for pc
. I am not too sure on the requirements but will keep you posted. I am basically waiting on a 4 track soundtrack and new sfx so I think will be sorted within the next month or so.
