Problem with BVM 14F5E

Hello everyone. I've recently purchased a Sony BVM 14F5E. It came with a BKM-21D add on board but without the Sytem Control board(the one all on the left with serial ports). From what I've read online that board is needed because it contains the firmware. Is there a way to use the monitor without that board or is there a place where I can buy it? I can't find it anywhere. Thanks in advance
