Yeah I didn't like Dangun at first, but now its by far my favorite Cave game. It definitely takes a while to open up and appreciate, but its worth it.

What's uninformative about it? It confirms all the rumors about it being a 2 player single console portable with a stand and you can plug it into a TV dock at home and also use a wireless pro controller for pros if you're pro. The only thing I'm disappointed about is the lack of a built in screen protector.

Because that's their main market for their home console, kids and families. They... kind of already know that isn't enough on its own. Hence the marriage with their blockbuster mobile market.

The 3DS won the last console war. If they can get this thing down to $200 eventually, the battery life is at least 4 hours, and the screen doesn't get scratched to shit, they've won this one too.

Confirming the basic physical appearance of the device is not very informative. We already knew it was a hybrid.

The console/handheld hybrid is probably Nintendo's best chance at staying relevant, so I think it's a good move. If they put all of their games on one platform, it's almost certainly going to be successful. It looks like they'll be reselling Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon, too. Sucks for people who have them for Wii U but I can't say it's surprising.

The new Mario game is interesting. I hope it follows the Mario 64 template.

Looks fine to me. I know it's all been leaked already, but it looks pretty slick now that we can see it in action.

The game library will make or break this system, but I feel like that will not be a problem. First party should be strong since Nintendo will no longer be dividing their efforts between two platforms (after 3DS fades away), and it should be easier for them to get third-party games because the controllers, screens, and hardware capabilities are similar to what their competitors are doing. If it sells well (and I think it will), the developers still sitting on the fence will come running.

I can't wait to play the next Fire Emblem on this.
