I bet it'll release when it hits the 14th in Japan for all regions, so those outside Japan will get it slightly "earlier" due to time zone shenanigans.

Our releases are usually around 9am-ish Friday mornings in Japan.

This means that yes, it will be the night before for people in the Eastern Hemisphere. (I usually work late on Thursdays since I'm East Coast USA)

The ones I really want to see get ported are ESPGaluda II, Mushihimesama Futari, and Muchi Muchi Pork since I can't play them now. (360 issues).

Not really interested in Daifukkatsu, SaiDaiOuJou, or Akai Katana as I didn't care for those on the 360 (Akai Katana might do better with people because horizontal though).

Still waiting for a patch before considering Deathsmiles.

Also, I know most of us probably don't care about it(me included with most games), but any chance of JSS getting trading cards?

I know that this thread is full of game porting requests but I've another!

What are the chances of getting Taito's 'Ray' trilogy a nice new PC release? Those games need more love in the wider gaming scene. I'm sure GOG would love to work with you ;)

Haven't they all got a PC release already? Or do you mean like an HD remake?

I'd like to see Mars Matrix getting released on PC rather than any of those 3.

I think they are all on PC but it would be nice to have them easily installable and playable on a new system. I'm not really into HD remakes in general as I find they often lose something in translation from SD sprite work. The 3 games repackaged with a nice frontend, modern controller support and online leader board would be enough for me.

I have to admit, though, Mars Matrix would be pretty nice to have too!

Awesome, felt in love since watching trailer. So badass.

However some folks dont like mechanic. And game is easier if you roll ship using autoroll button (i tend do do it manually because destroying keys is fun yeah lol).

Though actually i play DeltaZeal more, which i disregarded at first but then got it and was surprised how good it is. Though i would say Xiizeal feels more polished, but love/hate game for many.

What about itch.io? I use them for some Shmups lately (Don'Yoku, Blue Revolver, Super Galaxy Squadron EX) and I really like that plattform.
Would be really nice to see Degica games released at itch

What Steam release? Has it been confirmed anywhere that it's coming to Steam?

I didn't, no. Is there a reason? They seem to have a few shmups (Raiden series, Tyrian, Raptor...) so I guess they're not against the genre?

Not technically impossible though. I mean, unrelated to anything Degica, but I know that the physical version of Shogun II was basically just an install CD that then added it to your Steam account.

I mean, the only reason I know that is because of some preorder bonus Gamestop had I think.

Yeah, there are loads of games that got a physical release that require steam authentication - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_g ... entication
No real need to do it in this day and age though, it's just an unnecessary cost and pc games don't really get any shop space in games shops anymore.
I can understand collectors wanting to have something physical to sniff, stroke and put on their shelf but it's just an inconvenience for most gamers.

When I used to buy physical games that were tied to steam because they were often cheaper if you bought retail, I'd plug the code into my steam account and just sling the disk straight in the bin.

Future release prediction, in order: Akai Katana (this has to be next, requires no translation), Espgaluda II, Deathsmiles II, SDOJ, possibly PS/MMP (but I doubt it)?

Yeah, I'm with you on that. It's modern and flashy and has a near 16:9 aspect ratio so the dunderheeds won't think it's a mobile port.
I really liked akai katana, an easy 1cc but once I started playing for score, I never finished it again :D I really want muchi muchi pork and guwange, I hope they come at some point. I hope cave aren't finished porting their games yet.

Yeah, pretty sure I don't have anything from the physical copy of Shogun II I bought. Or well, anything physical for any PC game I own.

On consoles though, I still prefer physical just because I can't just add a larger HDD to a console as easily.
