I just want the best possible picture. Whether it be RGB 480p, Component, HDMI GCVideo or Analog GCVideo.

Would HDMI GameCube be the best for a BVM CRT?
Your BVM doesn't have an HDMI input. So no.

Only improvement you'd notice after converting back to analog is digital audio. And that of course doesn't have anything to do with the picture.

How is digital audio compared to analog audio?

Basically identical. For some people it can be more convenient to use in their setup, but if you have to ask this question, it is not relevant for you.

I like the idea GC Video, but when you consider the guy in the UK charges £108 plus shipping and currently doesn't even offer an analogue version I'd have to resort to sending that guy in the US my system...

Once you factor all that I might as well just get a component cable for my BVM... It's a great idea though.

It looks like the upcoming "ez" version might be pretty easy to install if you can solder. It looks like it has a flat flex cable that you just solder right on top of the digital port pins on the bottom of the board.

You're talking about just the board, right, not the EZ Pack?
