If you're passing on the LE because there's no disc, fair enough but if you're refusing to buy it altogether you're a knob. No wonder M2 can't afford a print run.
Despite the recent tweeting it's likely M2 collectively well knew the crusty fans they're appealing to would want physical, but the production of the the whole thing port and LE edition probably only got off the ground because someone got the ball rolling with minimum fuss.
