Hopefully they'll do a wireless receiver for that one too.
There are, IIRC, two main concerns with aftermarket N64 analog sticks: too big of a dead zone, and only supporting 8 directions (Try of MLiG reported it would snap between 8 directions in-game when rotating the stick). Hopefully this one doesn't suffer from that.

Holy shit. Love what these guys are doing!
Still crossing my fingers for a SATURN PAD. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure they recognize the nostalgia market is much, much larger on the Nintendo side.

Anyone has tested one of these? Any comments?
I have no interest in one until there's a retro receiver, but I still want to know if that's worth waiting for.

According to the Amazon reviews, the stick is not good at all and it has no rumble pack support.
For now I guess it is better to wait for the steel sticks replacements that are work in progress for the original controllers (https://twitter.com/steelsticks64).

Don't forget ENKKO too - he is doing new sticks, bowls and gears.noko_bombette wrote:According to the Amazon reviews, the stick is not good at all and it has no rumble pack support.

ENKKO...you mean the Kickstarter that was promised to be released in June and still isn't ready?: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/14 ... controller

Yeah, I mean ENKKO. The guy who promised sticks and bowls, and then surveyed his backers to see if they wanted sticks and bowls on their own, or preferred to wait until he has the gears ready too. I have no problem with waiting, especially since he gave his backers the choice.
Whilst promising one thing by a specific time and not delivering is a valid criticism, you should probably look into it more before you go posting about a person in a negative way. Might be my interpretation, but you haven't provided any padding or other info to smooth that comment out.
EDIT: this just went up on twitter. Promising news about a potential gears prototype. https://twitter.com/ENKKO_/status/799053116402450434
