Sync Strike Issues - No Signal

Hi,

I bought a Sync Strike device (ArcadeForge) with a GONS and the SLG3000 to be able to play on my old PC LCD Screen.

Unfortunately, it is not working as I expected.

I set up all the pieces like this : Console (tested with a Jap Dreamcast and an Euro Playstation) ==> Sync Strike ==> cga2vga Scaler PCB ==> SLG3000 ==> My screen.

I have the 'No Signal' message displayed as well as the menu of the cga2vga Scaler PCB. But I can't have the video of my consoles.

I know at least my playstation is working, I tested it with a old TV and there is no problems. I tried with an other video cable, with an other SCART entry with always the same results... No Signal...

Here is a photo of my setup :

If I connect the Yellow in the Green entry of the cga2vga Scaler PCB, I'm able to have a (bad) image.

Does any of you know where the problem come from ?

In the picture you don't have a RGB signal connected, but a composite video signal. If you strip a composite video signal, you get sync, but you're missing the actual picture (RGB) information.

So, you're telling me that my cables (the Yellow, White and Red) give a composite signal (only the Yellow actually). Or, the Sync Strike needs a RGB signal.

All my cables are composite, I guess, because they are all Yellow White and Red.

What I need is to have something to either :
- Cables which are already RGB like this one for the playstation (https://www.retrogamingcables.co.uk/son ... cable-lead)
- Something to convert my composite signal to a RGB signal

Am I right ?

don't start with converting composite to anything.... If your sources support RGB, then get proper RGB cables.
