Re: Superplay SNES Magazine Podcast
Thanks to a little help from some guys on here (CIT FTW) and a little patience (3 years or so) I managed to complete my Super Play set. I scored 4 brand new SP Binders from eBay too
Super Play means a lot to me: it kickstarted my import gaming habit and shaped my dreams for the future. For me it's still the ultimate in 2nd Generation games magazines, and the best of all time.

I have to agree, Skykid, it had a very global idea of gaming and it was all encompassing.
In many ways what we have today was hinted it all those years ago with SP.
I loved all the side articles.
I have a few of the Binders myself but they do not interest me that much.
Any one still wearing their 'subscribers only' SP tshirt?

The binders should interest you, they're worth a lot of dough. They were only available to purchase by mail order directly via the magazine, so they're scarce as hell.

Money wise, ok. I have some binders some where but I do not use them. I wonder how many people are still collecting SP.Skykid wrote:The binders should interest you, they're worth a lot of dough. They were only available to purchase by mail order directly via the magazine, so they're scarce as hell.
I used to read it religiously.

Still got an almost complete collection, which sadly I'm going to have to sell. Missing three issues before the final one (ran for 45-46 issues?). But yeah one of the all time greats, up there with Your Sinclair, Zzap!! 64 and Amiga Power in my humble opinion. Reading the back issues in comparison to the majority of sycophantic games writing these days is night and day.

I would be happy to buy issue 45 and the Gold edition if you have it for sale.
Thanks.
