Cypress CSY-2100 SCART to Component , Audio options ?

hi members , i am getting a Cypress CSY-2100 SCART to Component some time in the next couple of months and im trying to figure out whats the best way to get Audio to my Sony CRT. Ive seen one video where some one used one of the below , are these any good or there is a better solution ?

On above mod just put a small ziptie tight on the cable inside the box so that presses on inside of box and no strain on the solder joint if the phono cables are pulled.

excellent site and suggestions guys , i think what i will do is buy the adapter off ebay then when i have thoroughly tested the Cypress i will do the audio mod. I believe the adapter will cause a bit of video quality loss due to the quality of the wire used , so this mod will be perfect to retain the best the Cypress can do.

I haven't seen the inside of an original CSY-2100, but do be wary of unlabeled CSY clones, they're pretty shoddily made.

hi bob , yes i have done some research on clones or fakes and when i went to the Cypress website i saw the official resellers link and clicked on that. Happens that one of the resellers is in my home country (Australia) so all is cool.

If you're going to be using more than one console, I'd get a scart switcher with audio out from the switcher. The bandridge is what I have and it works great. It has audio out, can go right into the tv.

This guy from ebay is where I and many others are getting them with good luck.

im thinking still get one but dont use the 5th SCART socket , what do you guys think ?
