Famicom AV with RGB mod repair

Post by zoopster »

Hi,

I''m hoping someone may be open to providing a repair service in the UK for an AV Famicom with RGB mod? I bought the system last year from a member of the Jamma+ forum. It stopped working today after a SMB3 session using a recently purchased famicom everdrive. I can send photos of the system if it helps. Seem to be powering on - as there is a flick on the monitor - but isn't powering the everdrive cart. As you can imagine I'm gutted.

Thanks,
John

You sure it is not just the ED that has given up the old ghost? Test an actual retail cart before you whip out the old jump to conclusion mat.

I tried an original cart and it went in game but after a minute or so the main sprite (Batman) started to look corrupted and then the system went blank after another minute or so of game play. Also tried a different power supply.

What power supply were you using when it stopped working with the everdrive?
