In what game? 2.6B is not possible in any Mushi mode.
Maniac mode with autofire. http://www.esprade.org/hiscore.htm
But it's an insane score, and I think he pretty much doubled the old hiscore.
Sure hope he makes that dvd.

Good lord that's amazing! Yusemi is the most impressive shmup player on this planet, bar none.

Sound weird but it is. Maniac mode with autohack. With at least two different C+ I guess. A DVD would be HUGE...

Gaijin, thanks for all the infos! Well, an 'Insanity' Maniac run seems poor with 2 errors. The change of power thing is pretty unexpected, really strange. Now I want to see that DVD more than before :)

Unless you get points for end of life bonus, it doesn't really matter in the run. The guy still holds the WR for non-autofire hack.

10 mil for every life, a small quantity compared with the total score. But it's a matter of... Uhm, style... And the one in stage 2 seems a relevant mistake.

He bombs the 4th boss about 4 times as well. During the commentary, he basically says, "you can dodge bullets here if you want, but my pattern isn't very stable, and there's no bomb bonus, so there's not much loss".

OK it is ULTRA, but it just shows different clips for each boss segment...and it shows him doing the last two forms of the true final boss with NO MISS.

It seems to me that he just wasn't able to pull out a NO MISS run.

It's better than expected!
Original with autofire hacks, 68,5 mil, YMN is a robot.
Maniac default, a bit beyond 1 billion, not 950. Great run, death are not a problem, really. He show some VERY interesting thing like the choice of take formation befor the scorpion, the scorpion itself, the third stage, the change of type at the end of stage 4... A new world.
Out take is... Agh, awesome. TGA-RET do some things that are out of the world. Out of the world! Haven't seen the Ultra run yet, I keep it for the night.

Can anyone comment on the soundtrack? They're supposedly arranged tracks, but they seem to be the originals to me. I'm about to add this to my site, and want to get the music info right (Even though I don't like it at all, save one or two tracks.)

Uhm? There are both original and arranged tracks. Arranged ones seems different from the original OST, but I don't remember very well.

I assumed they were all arranged, since the OST was relaesed. Silly me.

Tracks 1-13 are the original arcade music. The bonus CD mirrors the OST CD for these tracks.

Tracks 14-17 are all new remixes (completely different from those found on the OST CD). Track 18 is the hyper-nasal "Ao Sora" song performed by Reko (this track was featured on the I-can't-believe-Cave-thought-this-was-cool OST CD commercial with Reko running through the forest... which is at the end of the Outtakes section on the DVD). Track 19 is the kara-oke version of track 18.

I did an almost 1CC of "little girl" mode in Mushisama(Arranged). I say almost because after beating the "final" boss I get super uber tiny bug final boss.

He turned the screen purple and I died. Did I do something wrong or am I supposed to have uber god dodging skills? wtf oddity

Thread split - the "discussion" about sharing MP3s and other stuff is now located at this thread.

The ULTRA run is good BUT... With a really poor score. At least he try to NO MISS the TLB, but fail.
Btw, in the Out Take there are some inhuman stuff from TGA-RET. Above all, he show that he can NO MISS even the last form of the TLB. It will do a complete NO MISS one day, I'm sure. And this confirm Valgar's theory: DOOM is the king. Now I totally agree.

TGA-RET is a world class player. However his "no miss" true last boss segment on the dvd was done off of a continue. This may (or may not) have some sort of effect on the rank of the game. I bet someone will do (or already has done) an all clear no miss ultra run. I am puzzled as to why RET doesn't use the "get the blob to the side" trick against the true last boss. He kind of shows how it is done in the outtake section.

He want to finish him quickly (autofire hacks really helps), so he stay in front of him all the time. That trick is pretty useless if you actually don't want to waste any life. He's a real man :)
