Was just curious what the vsync switch actually does? I'm assuming it doesn't provide actual vsync for emulators that don't have vsync enabled in the settings, but when I flick the switch it merely turns off the scanlines - seemingly like the on/off switch for the scanlines.
Additional bonus question: do the 3 pots marked R,G,B actually affect the colour, or are they used for scanline intensity. I'm happy with the image on default so didn't want to fiddle with them without being sure what they do.
From the website..... "VSYNC: Inverts VSYNC signal. Need to change it when you're using a VGA resolution different than 640x480@60Hz or 1024x768@60Hz, otherwise scanlines won't work."
I don't own an SLG of any type. How does this one compare to the others? (SLG3000, etc.) I do like the idea of being able use scanlines on higher resolutions than 480p, if it's effective.

Ah I see, that's an interesting function - although on my setup I'm on 640x480 and unlikely to ever change it, so it's not of use.
I've got no experience with the SLG3000 except one time I played using one at a friends house. Seems identical to me - the effect is very nice once you configure it. I'm still none the wiser about the RGB pots, I'll try to find the website (didn't know there was one!)
if increased or decreased together, these change the scanline intensity, yes. If you turn them seperately, the scanlines get a nasty tint, so ideally each should be set to the same value.
