Ha ha, true. It's just that I've been thinking of getting myself an mp3 player (still don't have one), and the touch has the benefit of a bunch of (possibly good) Cave ports, as well as a port of Raystorm that might be worth a laugh.
Agh, I wish there was an Android port... Taito's presence on the Android market is nonexistent, for all intents and purposes.
It's funny that I finally get some sort of touch device and it can't run DB. I really can't fathom why Taito did not put the game, for as seemingly successful as its arcade counterparts have been, on some form of XBLA or PSN.
The Game Center achievements seem bugged in this. If you unlock an achievement offline it doesn't sync when you go online and you can never unlock it again. Has anyone else found this?
As I recall, every Game Center game might behave like that unless the developer puts in code that remembers your offline achievements and tries to submit them again when you're online. Supposedly Game Center itself does this, but not reliably.
And there's no way to tell if a game includes this code or not... So I've just stopped running Game Center games while offline.
Is this a US-only offer? I played SP quite a lot on my old iPhone but use an Android one at the moment and had been hoping to pick it up again on the cheap. Installed Hay Day, anyway - worth a try.
Not sure if I recommend going the amazon route. It's nice getting some games for free, but you need an app to be installed to play them and most Android games on Amazon are outdated versions.
Bought it but when it comes to the download large data I only get: "Please check the network connection"
edit: Fixed it, the problem is with application access. Newer apps ask for permission, but this app expects you to grant "Storage" in the "Apps" setting of the phone.
