I have been noticing an an odd intermittent tremble on the sync of one my my bvms which through the process of elimination I determined was nothing to with the actual feed and was something due to the power. After installing power conditioners without success I decided to swap over the psu to a different bvm and my suspicions were confirmed when the trembling issue also switched over.
Having taken a close look at it, I see no obvious dodgy caps but as these things go, a cap change will probably sort it.
Can anyone recommend someone who could take a look and recap a BVM PSU card preferably in the uk?

You've got Iron Giant in the UK doing pcb repairs. I'd imagine he could knock out a cap job for you. Here's his thread.

Re: Recap BVM PSU Card
anybody with soldering experience can do a recap.
Curious though. What exactly do you mean by "trembling" ? The reason I ask is because I have (what sounds like) a similar issue with my BVM where the edges of pixels appear to "wobble" or "tremble" as you put it. Maybe its the same issue?

Re: Recap BVM PSU Card
I have that issue when looking really close up. The problem I'm having is that it increases in intensity on an intermittent basis it's particularly noticeable on the top left of the image and persists across channels and sources. It's not int or ext sync that's causing it and happens even when unplugged from any source just viewing the test cards. It's definitely the psu as the other bvm I have is rock solid but displayed he same symptoms when I swapped the power card

Yeah definitely sounds like the issue I'm having also. I've noticed it increases in intensity at random intervals also. I might attempt a PSU recap if that is indeed the issue. Any guides on recapping a BVM?
