I have recently completely recapped and fixed an x68000 Compact XVI model. Now I am looking for attaching an internal CF card HDD to it.
I have the following pinout in the SCSI breakout board.
Can someone tell me how to attach a CF card this system?
Really need help
You will have to build your own scsi cable unless you have the xvi hd model.
Once you have the cable ready you can choose to get one of following scsi2sd boards.
Aztec monster, scsi2sd or acard 7720.
They are all pretty compatible but I think the Aztec monster is the one easiest to install.
I also would suggest to check the nfgforums for more info.
The guys over there are really helpful
Good luck with that!! It's the best system ever released in my opinion:)

Thank you for the response.
Oh I see, but my Compact XVI already has a 50 pin male port marked as HDI (I guess HD internal) so all I need to that '50 pin HDI port' to CF card convertor, right?
