Trying to find a ~5 year old shmup...

I know these topics are tedious and boring but if anyone could help me, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I used to have a Japanese doujin-style shmup on an old laptop. It had an underwater theme, where I believe the heroine was a mermaid, or humanoid of some kind. It was a horizontal shooter, takes place completely under the ocean. Sprite-based, seemed to be trying to throw back to the SNES. It was a standalone program, not MAME or anything. It had a device similar to R-Type's Force module. It had some weird title that is making it hard to search for, I can't remember anything about it other than it was cool.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about??
