I've played GBA Panel de Pon with a sub, but the thick leads I use hanging from GBA SP's stereo adapter don't make for a very pleasant handheld gaming experience (earphones I tend to use have a way tinier jack and leads, so I prefer listening to its stereo this way; it's not like GBA SP's stereo amp favours any fancier equipment either). Still, I'm probably gonna go 2.1 with some GB(C) oldies for kicks.

Wizards & motherf****** Warriors, motherf******!

Just watched a longplay of it, as I am super nostalgic towards it (had it as a kid).
Can't believe I forgot to name that one as it has some extremely low frequency sounds throughout. Sub is rumbling here :D
