Help out with dark rage

Here's Dark Rage

Here's my problems:
-If the game folder contains a space, it refuses to load
(easily fixed by calling the folder darkrage)

-If I fullscreen the game, graphics become incomprehensible (jumbled intense colors but i can still make out a few forms)

Interesting thing to note, the screenshot actually had a DIFFERENT jumbled color than what I was seeing in fullscreen! Weird!

-The menus are completely obliterated. boxes appear when I select things. These boxes appear completely outside of the visible things. Some of the menu items seem cut off or whatever. It almost seems like the wrong menu was used!

What the heck is going on here?!?!

-The sound is at times tearing a bit and making stops. Like short one frame stops. It is frustrating.


I am a total noob when it comes to Doxboxing. Please provide assistance if possible fellow shmuppers. This appears an alright game but I am just unable to properly play it with these issues. I will provide any information if needed for assistance.
