So after some thought I'd like to put a Seimitsu joystick into my controller which was made for an offbrand Chinese JLF.
There is a ton of slop and it has quite a long throw.
Unfortunately the shaft on JLF appears to be much longer than Seimitsu and my stick mounts from below of a 3/8 inch thick face.
So has anyone tried those shaft extensors for Seimitsu?
Just how much throw do they introduce?
I guess I don't want to ruin the point of getting a medium or short throw joystick by putting on an extender if it does greatly affect it.
This is the cheap stick I've got in there now and while it works, it isn't as tight as I'd like.
So I need a Seimitsu that is tight and uses the same mounting plate (Or I guess I could take it to the drill press if need be)

Some of the best shmups don't actually end in a vowel.
