Hey, everyone!
I'm a big fan of the shmup genre since the times of 1942, despite the fact of not being what you would call a guy with great hand-eye coordination. My favourites are (please, don't laugh) Parodius and Axelay

. I'm always in the look for a new challenge and thanks to the Steam summer sale I found this little thing called Blue Rider, sold under the premise of being "an old-school shoot'em-up". So I gave it a try and I found it to be fairly entertaining. Its graphics had this Mario/Sonic game vibe and a nice soundtrack that doesn't get old. As for the promised challenge, let me tell you that there are times when you really think there's no place to hide from the bullets, but you get your share of help in the form of drones and cool power ups. In my opinion its a good game to spend some entertaining and challenging time and I recommend it for anyone who loves that old school the description mentions, for definitely that's the audience this guys were aiming for.
Right now, I'm quite stuck at Level 3..

Silly me.
Anyone else in the forum had the chance to play it. I'd love to exchange opinions. And hints.
Here is a link to a review in YouTube, in case you don't know which game am I talking about
