OTS shmupping

First of all i must apologize for not updating the ketsui hi-score thread. unfortunately i've been at Air Force OTS since early november and just graduated yesterday. however during our second to last week we had a simulated deployment and we set up a "morale tent" complete with mame arcade and projector screen (bedsheet). there were marvel vs. capcom tournaments but the real favorite was Raiden Fighters Jet, probably due to the fact that many of us are future fighter jocks. here's a picture of our little setup:

hope you all get a little kick out of what lengths we'll go to get our shmup on.

That's great, I dig seeing makeshift shmupping setups like that.

You think it's possible to TATE your Projector?

I know you can alter the way the screen is viewed in MAME.

i thought about it, but we were also watching movies and such through the computer...too much trouble so i never brought it up to the guy running the tent. even in yoko it was still pretty big and very bright, you could easily play it and see the bullets 15-20 ft away from the screen.
