Shmupsfarm Twinkle Star Sprites Summer 2016 Tournament

Welcome!!!

For this first qualifying tier, everyone is going to play their match of three games (each consisting of three rounds) against their opponent and report the results in this thread. Screenshots and replays are welcomed but as long as both competitors agree on the result, it will be accepted. Due to life commitments and such, I expect this to take several days, but for now I will give everyone one week to complete their matches. If more time is desired, please request it beforehand. If someone forfeits or otherwise does not show up, their opponent will be the winner. Those of us who have submitted gameplay to this forum have been seeded accordingly.

Rules:
-Please do not use Mevious or Memory, as the consensus seems to prefer it this way.
-Default settings please, including level 4 difficulty.
-The Japan region is preferred but not mandatory. I am not aware of any differences.
-Fightcade or official netplay are acceptable.
-This should be obvious but no cheating please!

This tournament will be double elimination. The first qualifying matches will be as follows:

The_Armchair_General vs. Doctor Butler (the winner will face Zil)
Domino vs. Sprites7 (the winner will face me, stardustreverie)
szycag vs. Fizzxwix (the winner will face Keade)
BrianC vs. Ratikal
zaarock vs. NeoStrayCat
SquireGrooktook vs. cham0mile
aeong vs. Kino
DJIncompetent vs. trap15

I'll consider this thread to be the tournament's "lobby" so if someone fails to respond on challonge or post in this thread within the week, I will consider them to have forfeited the match.

No, I claimed a victory against Zae, the only problem now is just I'm waiting for the next match up, all I need to do is wait and be PM'd, as I usually check messages once in a while.

But yeah, this tourney thing wasn't really thought out with communication in mind at the start. >.>
